2. classifier for certain round shapes or objects; for sources of light.

ดวงจันทร์- the moon;

ดวงใจ- the heart; ดวงชะตา- the zodiac, the astrologers' circle; ดวงดาว- the stars (in general), the orb of the stars; ดวงพักตร์- a face, a round, handsome face; ดวงไฟ- a light or lamp; ดวงอาทิตย์- the orb of the sun, the sun; เป็นดวง ๆ- blotchy, soiled, spotted with dirt or mildew.
